Shop online or in-store for the world's largest selection of Waiheke Island wines. We know the island like the back of our hands, and work alongside all Waiheke wineries in order to be able to offer you the best prices on the best wines, often exclusive to our store.

SUMMER IS GLOWING! Light evenings and warm temperatures have us sipping crisp, bright whites, rosé of all shades on the deck, and crunchy, fruity reds to go with salad season (think Beaujolais, Pinot Noir, chilled Grenache). Not to mention bubbles for days: Champagne, Crémant, Prosecco... Come in store to look at our extensive range!

Come and join us every Friday from 4 to 6 pm to taste wines from our vineyard of the month from Waiheke plus some local food producers.

We have a wide range of interesting items that are not online, so if you want something that you can't find, please get in touch.

Not keen on carrying a box of bottles back to your home or holiday accommodation?

We offer island-wide delivery from Matiatia to Rocky Bay and Onetangi, Monday to Friday. Simply visit us in store, shop online, or give us a call to place your order. Orders received before 11am are usually delivered the same afternoon!

As we’re delivering alcohol, someone 18+ or older will need to receive the order.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY? We ship to the following destinations: Australia (up to 4 weeks), Hong Kong (up to 4 weeks), Japan (up to 4 weeks), Singapore (up to 5 weeks), UK (up to 12 weeks), USA (up to 6 weeks).

Please note for international shipping, we can ONLY ship wine that is produced in New Zealand (no spirits or food products).

Winery of the Month

O B S I D I A N

Nestled in Waiheke Island’s Onetangi Valley, Obsidian Wines has been crafting distinctive, site-driven wines since 1993. Originally planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the estate has grown into one of the island’s benchmark producers of Bordeaux-inspired reds, while continuing to explore Waiheke’s potential through a diverse vineyard portfolio. Farmed across several carefully selected vineyard blocks, Obsidian takes its name from the island’s volcanic origins. Iron-rich clay soils over weathered greywacke naturally limit vine vigour, producing wines of concentration, structure, and depth. Warm days, cool nights, and a constant maritime influence preserve freshness and balance, resulting in wines that are both powerful and refined. Obsidian is best known for its Cabernet-based blends — with The Obsidian as the flagship — alongside an acclaimed Syrah. The estate has also been a pioneer of Mediterranean varieties on Waiheke, including Montepulciano and Tempranillo, as well as elegant expressions of Chardonnay and Viognier. Each wine speaks clearly of its place, reflecting both the strength and versatility of this exceptional site.
