As we transition into the wintery months, our glasses are moving toward wines with a bit more texture and soul—think stone-fruit driven Chardonnays, savoury Rosés, and those deep, warming reds like our world-famous Waiheke Syrah, dark, juicy Montepulciano or a classic Bordeaux blend.
And because there is always a reason to celebrate the change of season: our bubbles are chilled and ready, from elegant Champagne to zesty Crémant.
Come and join us every Friday from 4 to 6 pm to taste wines from our vineyard of the month from Waiheke plus some local food producers.

Not keen on carrying a box of bottles back to your home or holiday accommodation?
We offer island-wide delivery from Matiatia to Rocky Bay and Onetangi, Monday to Friday. Simply visit us in store, shop online, or give us a call to place your order. Orders received before 11am are usually delivered the same afternoon!
As we’re delivering alcohol, someone 18+ or older will need to receive the order.

Winery of the Month
BATCH WINERY
This family-owned winery that began when the Thomas family swapped Canada for Waiheke Island in pursuit of producing world-class wines. Since taking over Thomas Estate in 2009, they've embraced a hands-on, small-batch approach, with every bottle crafted, matured and bottled in their gravity-fed winery. It's a philosophy built on patience, precision and letting the vineyard speak for itself.
At 200 metres above sea level, Batch's vineyard is the highest on Waiheke, where warm north-facing slopes, clay-rich soils and cooling sea breezes create ideal conditions for slow, even ripening. The result is a collection of wines that are fresh, expressive and unmistakably Waiheke—from elegant Chardonnay and beautifully balanced Syrah to vibrant Pinot Gris, aromatic Flora and sparkling wines made entirely on-site. Each bottle is a reflection of the island's unique terroir and Batch's commitment to crafting wines with character and a true sense of place.

Our Waiheke Store
Located in the main town and heart of Waiheke Island, Oneroa, our store is a must-visit for anyone coming to the island. Our full range of Wine, Beer, Spirits and more is avaliable to view and purchase in-store, and our friendly team are able to help with any questions you may have, or reccomendations you may need! The Waiheke Wine Centre team love Waiheke Island and they have a vast amount of local knowledge and work closely with the vineyards and local food suppliers. Their passion is the joy of fine wine and foods, interesting places and people.
