We are two nerds from the Midwest who somehow found our way into the wine industry. Over time, we began to realize that something was seriously wrong.

Wine was super interesting, but most people talking about it were boring and, shall we say, a bit snobby about it all?

And that just ain’t us….

So, we created Responsible Hedonist to make tasty wines from Aotearoa New Zealand you don’t see everyday, answer all your wine questions (yes, even that one), and have some fun. Join us, won’t you?

We wanted to create a wine company that embraces this philosophy – one that’s dedicated to responsibly making tasty, fun-loving wines. This means:

• Incorporating sustainable practices into all areas of wine production
• Doing what we can to lessen our environmental impact
• Being fully transparent so we can be accountable to all of you.
