Andrew and Charlotte's dedication to celebrating Waiheke's wine culture reached new heights with their acquisition of the Waiheke Wine Centre, a renowned destination boasting the world's greatest selection of wines from Waiheke vineyards. Viewing the opportunity to expand the promotion and enjoyment of Waiheke Island wines, they seized the chance when the center came up for sale in early 2022. Situated in Oneroa, the main town and heart of Waiheke Island, the store offers an extensive range of wines not only from Waiheke but also from other New Zealand and international producers. Visitors to the store are welcomed by a knowledgeable and friendly team, eager to assist with inquiries and recommendations. Complementing the diverse selection of wines are spirits, beers, champagnes, and mixers, ensuring a comprehensive beverage experience. While the island's vineyards offer a rewarding exploration, the Waiheke Wine Centre serves as an essential hub for those unable to visit them all, featuring many wines available for tasting. In-Store Wine Tasting

UPDATE: Enomatics are currently offline due to mechanical issues. We will update this as soon as they're available again. Rather rare in New Zealand, the Italian made Enomatic wine system dispenses single tastings whilst carefully protecting the integrity of the wine (taste, body and aroma). Oxygen is replaced with argon, an inert gas, once the bottle is opened. The varietals are presented chilled or at ambient temperature to ensure you experience the very best of each wine. A swipe of your Smart Card enables you to taste over 32 of Waiheke Island’s finest wines, some of which are not easily accessible or perhaps price prohibitive. As you only pay for the tasting, you can have your very own tasting tour of the very best wines Waiheke Island has to offer.
