Yering Station is a family-owned winery that has been producing exceptional wines for over 160 years. The winery is located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, where the cool climate and rich soil create the perfect conditions for growing Pinot Noir grapes. The winery's heritage and commitment to sustainability are evident in every bottle of Yering Station Reserve Pinot Noir.
The traditional winemaking process used by Yering Station involves handpicking the grapes and fermenting them in small batches. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 10 months, allowing it to develop its unique flavor profile. The result is a wine that is rich, complex, and full of character.
Yering Station Reserve Pinot Noir 2019 has a deep ruby color and a complex aroma of dark cherries, blackberries, and spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with flavors of black cherry, plum, and a hint of vanilla. The tannins are firm and well-structured, giving the wine a long and elegant finish.
This wine pairs perfectly with roasted duck, grilled lamb, or mushroom risotto. It is also a great match for aged cheeses such as Gouda or Cheddar.
