Description
Outside of the Mosel, Fromm are second to none in producing these racy, luscious Riesling styles. The 2018 vintage gifted them with an incredible growing season, followed by rain during the later part of season, perfect for botrytis. Their first Beerenauslese since 2004, and not to be missed as no one does it like Fromm.
The epitome of a sweeter style, perfect with cheese or on its own, instead of a dessert. This level of sweetness is hard to match with other foods as few fruits have the acidity levels found in grapes.

Smells
Exotic aromas of mountain flowers, concentrated lime zest, honeysuckle and tree ripened apricots about to fall from the tree.
Tastes
The precision, elegance yet concentration are sensational with knife cutting acidity that refreshes and cleanses the palate. Tiny slips are all that is required, truly a very special wine that needs to be savoured. This could perhaps age forever, or at least 15-20 years, up there with the best from the Mosel.
