Waiheke Distilling Co is set on the ridge above Cowes Bay (formerly Pikau Bay). The distillery has been respectfully established to sit alongside and meld within structures that resonate the farming history of the area. Former pasture land has been painstakingly developed into a garden that exemplifies the botanical story of the product produced, bottled and served onsite.

Pikau means “to take care of”. Waiheke Distilling Co have the privilege of carefully crafting a botanical spirit in a sustainable and meaningful way. 

Spirit of Waiheke:

The Spirit of Waiheke, our signature gin embodies the land, wind and sea. This contemporary dry gin pays homage to its island provenance with a coastal freshness on the nose. Distilled with giant kelp, citrus and a hint of spice. Clean lingering finish with subtle lime.

It is perfect with a Mediterranean or Elderflower tonic and a twist of lime, or with a sprig of rosemary for a more savoury alternative.

London Dry:

The award-winning Traditional London Dry gin is a time-honoured classic tipple, and the bar tender's friend. Aromatic and juniper forward, with notes of lemon and Seville orange. The inclusion of macadamia provides an enriching mouth feel, and pink peppercorn adds a spicy warmth to this spirit cabinet staple.

It’s our island take on the classic London Dry.

Pairs perfectly with Fever-Tree Old World or Premium Indian Tonic.

Ruby Red:

Red Ruby is the jewel in our gin collection. An infusion of ripe New Zealand cherries sweetening our otherwise dry gin structure, results in a truly special drop that is the perfect refreshment on a hot summer's day. Smooth, with delicate sweetness, orange and warm spiced cinnamon on the palate.

Pair with Fever-Tree Blood Orange Soda for light and refreshing serve or try Aromatic Tonic or any citrus sodas. For something truly unique, sip and savour on the rocks.
