HELLO SEPTEMBER! We've enjoyed some fabulous cosy treats over winter (and we know we're not quite out of the season yet), but it is time to look forward to Spring and lighter evenings ahead. We're dreaming of crisp, bright whites and rosé on the deck, and lighter reds (think Beaujolais, Pinot Noir, chilled Grenache). Come in store to look at our extensive range!

Come and join us every Friday from 4 to 6 pm to taste wines from our vineyard of the month from Waiheke plus some local food producers.

JASPER RIDGE ESTATE
Jasper Ridge Estate sits as a small, boutique vineyard on Waiheke Island’s eastern ridge. Deeply rooted in the Māori ethic of Kaitiakitanga, our philosophy is to manage the land responsibly through appropriate and timely estate and vineyard management practices, and our wines are produced sustainably on Waiheke Island.
The Estate is self-sustainable, with rain harvested water, on site water disposal and solar power.
Just a hectare is under vine, with the rest of the seven hectare estate dedicated to native bush and a range of trees, flora and fauna.
Predominantly growing and producing award-winning Syrah and Rosé, the Jasper Ridge Syrah style produces flavours of darker fruits including plum, blackberry and raspberry, with the signature black peppercorn found on the palate. The style is much lighter and more refined than similar Syrah (Shiraz) found in hotter climates. Additional flavours, complexity and tannins come from French oak ageing in a mix of new and used barriques.

Our Waiheke Store
Located in the main town and heart of Waiheke Island, Oneroa, our store is a must-visit for anyone coming to the island. Our full range of Wine, Beer, Spirits and more is avaliable to view and purchase in-store, and our friendly team are able to help with any questions you may have, or reccomendations you may need! The Waiheke Wine Centre team love Waiheke Island and they have a vast amount of local knowledge and work closely with the vineyards and local food suppliers. Their passion is the joy of fine wine and foods, interesting places and people.
