Therefore inspect delivery of goods before signing courier documents. If there has been any spillage or damage you should make note of exact damage on your the courier companies delivery document and your own copy, before you accept the goods. You can refuse to accept or sign for goods that have been damaged by the courier company. Once you sign receipt of the goods they become your property and responsibility.
