Tasting Notes:

Grown on the western hill tops of Te Rere Cove Vineyard this 1.1 acre parcel excels in the production of harmonious and expressive Pinot Gris. The 3 selected clones combine seamlessly to offer a wine of subliminal expression of this most noble of varieties. Punch, poise and seduction result in a melange of lime, melons, minerals, quince then onto a fleshy body, touch of bitters, then a gentle tsunami of power and balance. It just keeps getting better.

“The 2013 vintage is a powerful wine, maturing very gracefully. Bright, light lemon/green, it is ripely scented and fleshy, in a dryish style with strong, peachy, slightly spicy flavours, showing good freshness and complexity. Drink now or cellar.” – Michael Cooper
